As a Trainee Arborist Climber, you will become a vital part of our tree care team, collaborating with experienced arborists and gaining hands-on experience in the care of trees and shrubs across various properties.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Trainee Arborist Climber, your role will include:

- Engaging in on-the-job training to safely execute various arboricultural tasks, such as:

- Tree climbing

- Pruning techniques

- Rigging operations

- Cabling and bracing methods

- Safe removal of hazardous trees

- Identifying different tree species

- Proper maintenance and operation of tools and equipment (including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)

- Implementing safety protocols in work zones

- Supporting Arborist Climbers and Crew Leaders both on the ground and in the trees

- Assisting with driving and equipment handling duties

- Understanding and adhering to all safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:
- A strong interest in nature and the environment

- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

- Valid driver's license

- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn within a team setting

- Previous experience in tree care, landscaping, forestry, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory

- A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.
