We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page. As a Senior Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and timelines.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage and coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, and labor resources to optimize project efficiency.
  • Safety and Quality: Implement and maintain strict safety standards, promoting a culture of safety awareness among all on-site personnel, and perform regular quality assurance checks.
  • Project Scheduling: Develop and adjust project schedules as needed, proactively identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with project managers, design teams, and clients to address technical challenges and incorporate design modifications.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and site records.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Site Tours: Conduct site tours for clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress and addressing concerns.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional development.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of superintendent experience.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction techniques, building systems, and industry standards.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification required.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, critical thinking, and innovative problem-solving.
