As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive assessments, interventions, and support to children birth to 3 years old with developmental delays or disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments to identify children's developmental needs and create personalized intervention plans.
- Provide in-home and community-based specialized skills training services to children and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including families, caregivers, and other professionals, to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
- Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that address children's educational, social, medical, and developmental needs.
- Monitor children's progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field approved by ECI, such as Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Special Education, Child Development, Health, Family Studies, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in Early Childhood Development or a related field, or experience working with young children with developmental delays.
- Valid Texas Driver's license, auto liability insurance, and a driving record acceptable to PermiaCare's insurance requirements.
- Ability to pass a criminal history and background check, as well as a pre-employment drug screen.
