About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic Operating Room team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process, conducting initial and ongoing patient assessment, analyzing assessment data, creating a plan of care, implementing treatment, and evaluating treatment effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify and prioritize patient problems/needs.
  • Create and implement individualized plans of care that address patient-specific needs.
  • Administer medications in a safe and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care delivery.
  • Serve as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Valid nursing license from the state of practice required.
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
