Cake Decorator Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious baked goods that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

• Plan and execute bakery productions to ensure consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs.
• Work with a variety of products, including decorating bags, tips, and nozzles, to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment to ensure efficient and safe production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive member service and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Develop and maintain interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Stay up-to-date with new tools and technologies to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
• Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events.
• Be a brand advocate, modeling high-quality service and products, and interacting with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training.

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00, with additional compensation in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
