Job Title: Medical Assistant - Neurosurgery

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Neurosurgery team in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and administrative support to our Neurosurgery team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care and support to Neurosurgery patients, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with clinical procedures, such as electrocardiograms, vision and hearing screening, and specimen collection.
  • Participate in patient education and health promotion initiatives.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, preparing patient charts, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Certificate Program preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
