Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Family Home Caregiver to join our team at Chileda Institute Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work directly with our residents to teach important life skills, including independent living skills, community integration, activities of daily living (ADL's), social and communication skills, and behavior modification.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support residents in the group home
  • Assist with personal cares, including bathing, grooming, and nail care
  • Administer medications as needed
  • Transport residents to activities outside the group home
  • Prepare meals and teach cooking skills
  • Use crisis management techniques to de-escalate situations

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • Valid driver's license required

Benefits:

Full-time roles come with Chileda's generous benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, great PTO, and a company-matched 401(k) plan.

Sign-on Bonus:

A $1,500 sign-on bonus is paid after 6 months and an additional $1,500 is paid after 12 months of maintaining full-time status on 3rd shift.
