The Restaurant Operations Manager will be responsible for executing all restaurant administrative duties, providing leadership to ensure day-to-day operations are sustained at an acceptable level. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a corporate-owned restaurant within company policies and guidelines, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Create value for shareholders through efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management.
- Team Management: Recruit, interview, and hire team members, conduct performance appraisals, take discipline action, motivate, and train.
- Financial Management: Control profit and loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
- Marketing and Promotion: Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs.
- Employee Safety and Well-being: Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team.
- Recognition and Motivation: Implement recognition and motivation efforts to drive team performance.
Requirements:
- Leadership and Management: Strong leadership and management skills to execute restaurant operations and manage a team.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good communication skills, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Team Building and Development: Exceptional team building capability and ability to develop team members.
- Business Acumen: Basic business math and accounting skills, strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Education and Experience: College or university degree preferred, but will consider experience. Supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment, including profit and loss responsibility.
