Job Summary

OnSpot Dermatology is seeking an experienced part-time Medical Assistant to join our team.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Room and intake patients, completing medical history, chief complaint, and review of systems.
  • Scribe for the provider.
  • Assist the provider during MOHS and excisions.
  • Assist the provider as needed on minor procedures.
  • Order additional testing, as requested by the provider.
  • Ensure all specimens are meticulously labeled, processed, and sent to the appropriate lab as needed.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments when needed.
  • Be willing to perform duties outside your normal job description when you have available hours.
  • Smile, converse, and treat all patients in a warm and friendly manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience in dermatology as a Medical Assistant.

  • Dependable and able to work with a team.
  • Prior EMA/Modernizing Medicine experience is a must.
