Position Overview

We are seeking qualified individuals for the role of Adjunct Faculty in Broadcasting Technology. This position involves teaching and guiding students in various aspects of media production, including filmmaking, radio, television, and digital media.

Location

This role is district-wide, offering opportunities across multiple campuses.

Compensation

Salary placement is determined based on official transcripts and relevant experience. For more details on the current salary schedule, please refer to the provided resources.

Employment Type

This is a part-time, adjunct position that does not accrue overtime.

Department

Faculty members will be part of the District Wide department, contributing to a diverse educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
  • Maintain professional standards and ethics in all interactions.
  • Stay updated with developments in the subject matter.
  • Provide quality instruction and foster an engaging learning environment.
  • Be available to assist students outside of class hours.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant professional experience, or
  • An Associate degree with six years of relevant professional experience, or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate cultural competency and an understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students.
