Rochester Hearing & Speech Center seeks a highly skilled Clinical Audiologist to join our team. This rewarding role will involve conducting comprehensive hearing evaluations on patients of all ages and developmental abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed assessments using various techniques such as tympanometry, acoustic reflexes, OAEs, pure tone and speech testing, conditioned play audiometry, visual reinforcement audiometry, speech-in-noise testing, central auditory processing evaluations, and cochlear implant evaluations.
  • Develop and implement effective auditory rehabilitation plans, including the fitting and dispensing of hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and other relevant technology.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to initiate follow-up appointments and referrals as needed.
  • Possess excellent communication skills to effectively report patient progress and provide recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements by participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Audiology is required, while a Doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Hold a valid State of New York license to practice Audiology and a New York State license to dispense hearing aids.
  • OBTAIN THE CERTIFICATE OF CLINICAL COMPETENCE IN AUDIOLOGY FROM THE AMERICAN SPEECH-LANGUAGE-HEARING ASSOCIATION (ASHA).

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
