As a Medical Social Worker, you will work closely with patients and their families to understand their unique needs and circumstances. Your expertise will be instrumental in establishing care plans that address the social, emotional, and economic factors that impact a patient's medical progress.

You will be the pillar of support for patients and their families, providing much-needed intervention and understanding during times of crisis. Your compassion and empathy will make a world of difference in their healing journey.

Our patients' lives are often influenced by a myriad of social, emotional, and economic factors. With your insight, you will help physicians and caregivers understand and address these elements that impact the patient's medical progress. The impact of care extends beyond the walls of the clinic. You will be instrumental in connecting patients with vital community resources, ensuring they have access to everything they need to thrive.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited school approved by the Council on Social Work Education
  • Current Social Work License/Certification through the Kentucky Board of Social Work required
  • One year of social work in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Must obtain and maintain CPR certification
