We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at Fort Norfolk Retirement Community, Inc. in Norfolk, Virginia. As a RN, you will provide direct nursing care to our elderly residents in a safe and compassionate manner, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent direct nursing care to residents, treating them with respect and dignity.
- Assess, develop, and maintain individualized care plans in coordination with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor residents' conditions, reporting any changes to clinical management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Current Virginia RN license required.
- At least three years of progressively responsible nursing experience in Assisted Living/Memory Support and/or Long-Term Care.
- Valid Adult CPR, BLS/AED Certification required.
- ISP/UAI certification preferred.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
