Job Title: Radiology Technician - Travel Position

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, positioning patients and equipment, and providing radiation protection.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures utilizing accurate application of ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
  • Position patients and equipment appropriately to accurately demonstrate the area being examined, requiring extensive anatomic positioning skills.
  • Provide appropriate radiation protection for patients and staff during radiation exposures according to prescribed safety standards.
  • Adjust technical factors to provide appropriate exposure by use of independent judgment, knowledge of human anatomy, effect of disease on the radiograph and the principles of radiation as well as the specific operation of all radiologic equipment within the department.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of X-ray experience
  • ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications
  • Profile requirements: work history, skills checklist, and supervisory references
