Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Services Manager to join our team at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. As a front-line manager, you will be responsible for leading the department, its patient population, and assigned staff. You will have 24-hour accountability for all patient care activities, department operation, and staff function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, plan, direct, administer, and evaluate services in areas of responsibility.
- Assist in the lab during cases as needed.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure optimal performance and job satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Professional School of Nursing or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
- Three (3) years experience in Cardiovascular Services/Cath Lab.
- One (1) year Supervisory experience.
- RN license to practice in Pennsylvania; and/or RCIS.
- Current BLS and current ACLS certification.
