**About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plastic injection systems and other manufacturing equipment.

**Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise to production teams to assist in creating and implementing solutions to manufacturing challenges
  • Use drawings, schematics, service manuals, and manufacturer's specifications to install, modify, enhance, and repair machines and mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshoot various equipment throughout production, including injection molding machines, automation equipment, conveyors, material systems, compressed air systems, cooling tower systems, and chilled water systems
  • Continuously increase technical knowledge and alternative work methods to enhance accuracy and efficiency of machinery through internal or external training classes and/or seminars
  • Address machine-related issues and other concerns with co-workers and management personnel with accuracy and in a timely manner, providing updates and schedules as necessary
  • Complete paperwork, including machine documentation, panel documentation, and preventive maintenance records to ensure adequate documentation for minimizing equipment downtime
  • Suggest and implement ideas to increase personal and departmental efficiency
  • Communicate potential cost savings to other technicians and team leaders
  • Consistently adhere to company policies and procedures, and safety regulations

**Requirements

  • Experience in machine repair of plastic injection systems, automation systems, 480-volt motor and controls systems, AC drive troubleshooting
  • Ability to read, follow, and understand electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings, blueprints, schematics, code requirements, service manuals, and manufacturers' specifications
  • Computer literacy and ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate with technical support if necessary
  • An excellent work record, including attendance
