About the Role:
The Dishroom Attendant is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and dining areas. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to teamwork, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized dishroom, ensuring all equipment and utensils are sanitized and stored properly.
- Operate dishwashing equipment to ensure all china, glass, and silverware are cleaned thoroughly.
- Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and kitchen utensils, storing them in their designated areas.
- Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and dining areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Empty garbage and recyclables from food and beverage areas, and public spaces.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of back-of-house and trash areas.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Capable of reaching overhead, bending, and kneeling to perform tasks.
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is an asset.
