About the Role:

The Dishroom Attendant is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and dining areas. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to teamwork, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized dishroom, ensuring all equipment and utensils are sanitized and stored properly.
  • Operate dishwashing equipment to ensure all china, glass, and silverware are cleaned thoroughly.
  • Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and kitchen utensils, storing them in their designated areas.
  • Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and dining areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Empty garbage and recyclables from food and beverage areas, and public spaces.
  • Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of back-of-house and trash areas.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Able to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of reaching overhead, bending, and kneeling to perform tasks.
  • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is an asset.
