About the Job:

As a Virtual Nursing Professional at Nebraska Medical Center, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families. Our telehealth team uses cutting-edge technology to deliver care remotely, and we are looking for a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team.

Job Summary:

This is not a work-from-home position; instead, it requires employees to be able to be on site at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. The successful candidate will have a strong background in acute care nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with bedside RNs to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Utilize EHR technology to document patient information and communicate with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of RN experience in an acute care hospital required.
  • Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialty Experience: Experience caring for patients with complex medical conditions preferred.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred.

Compensation:

Estimated salary range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
