The primary focus of this position is to assess, plan, organize and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, language, cognitive and swallow function of patients suffering from diseases or injury.

This position will include inpatient and outpatient speech therapy services, providing support to patients in need of rehabilitation.

Additionally, this position will provide backup speech therapy services as needed within the St. Croix Valley and Western WI, including weekends.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patients to identify speech and language disorders
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Providing speech therapy services to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care

Required qualifications include:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field from an accredited program
  • Current Speech Language Pathology licensure in the States of Minnesota & Wisconsin
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
  • BLS - American Heart Association or BLS - American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) through ASHA (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) within 18 months of hire

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 1+ year of speech therapy experience
  • Video swallow experience
