Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. Under the clinical guidance of Registered Nurses, the LPN will assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assessment of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with Registered Nurses, physicians, and correctional officers.
  • Administer medications and interventions as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Document patient encounters, responses, and outcomes, communicating information to supervisory personnel and physicians.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current, unrestricted New Mexico Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience, with correctional experience preferred.
