Job SummaryThe Family Therapist will be responsible for evaluating mental health diagnoses, creating and implementing treatment plans, and providing excellent customer service to clients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client and family.
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and creative interventions to promote positive change.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including case managers, medical personnel, and school staff, to ensure comprehensive care for clients and their families.
- Document client progress and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in family therapy and mental health care.
- Masters degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Clinical licensure or pre-licensure in MA.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
