Role Overview:
Our quality assurance engineering team plays a crucial role in ensuring a stable, secure, and user-friendly e-commerce ecosystem. We are on the lookout for passionate and skilled individuals to help shape the future of e-commerce at TikTok.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee backend server testing and enhance system reliability, including monitoring setups, load testing, chaos engineering, and CI/CD practices.
- Create robust, high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance evaluations.
- Automate test scenarios and develop reusable scripts/tools to optimize team workflows and reduce repetitive tasks.
- Identify and resolve efficiency bottlenecks proactively, while researching and enhancing testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Engage in Product Requirements Document (PRD) and architectural design assessments, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business logic, system architecture, and product functionalities.
- Collaborate closely with developers and business stakeholders to automate acceptance testing processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields from recognized institutions, along with 5 years of hands-on experience in backend server testing, showcasing a deep understanding of system architecture, middleware, databases, and message queues.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Golang, Java, C++, etc.).
