Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL-A Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Load and unload products from trailers and transport them to designated storage areas.
  • Verify delivery of products and obtain signatures from customers.
  • Perform damage control checks and report any issues to management.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A license and a clean driving record.
  • 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move products of varying size and weight.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in the foodservice distribution industry.
  • Onboard computer and electronic log system experience.
  • Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience.
