Position Overview

Jobot is a forward-thinking accounting firm looking for a Senior Tax Manager to enhance our talented team. The ideal candidate will spearhead all tax-related functions within the organization, encompassing tax strategy, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee corporate tax strategy and compliance efforts
  • Accurately prepare and file multi-state tax returns in a timely manner
  • Manage tax provisions and ensure balance sheet accuracy
  • Formulate strategic tax planning initiatives for federal and state obligations
  • Conduct thorough tax research and maintain current knowledge of tax regulations
  • Collaborate with auditors and manage federal and state audit processes
  • Ensure timely submission of annual reports and tax payments
  • Provide mentorship and direction to the tax department team
  • Work with stakeholders to deliver comprehensive tax advisory services
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Active CPA certification is mandatory
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management roles
  • In-depth knowledge of tax compliance, planning, and analysis
  • Experience with diverse tax filings and audit processes
  • Expertise in income tax compliance and payment procedures
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication abilities
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
