Position Overview:
The Traveling Licensed Counselor will collaborate with various professionals within the Behavioral Health Unit to enhance service delivery to our patients.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a valid license as a Master's Level Behavioral Health Clinician, including LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist. Candidates should be willing to travel within the designated region, with all travel expenses covered.
  • Licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist is mandatory.
  • Unlicensed candidates or those with intern licenses cannot be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions as needed.
  • Provide administrative consultations for specialized social services tailored to the institution's needs.
  • Engage in psychiatric social service work within the Behavioral Health Unit of a Juvenile Detention Facility.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of program goals and objectives, and may lead special projects as assigned.
  • Participate in and facilitate in-service training programs, assist in onboarding new staff, and prepare necessary documentation and reports.
  • Attend required training sessions and meetings.
