TriStar Summit Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, developing and implementing individualized plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Administer prescribed medications, perform wound care, and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting informed decision-making and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee or compact licensure.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Experience working as an OR Circulator is required.
As a 200-bed comprehensive facility, TriStar Summit Medical Center serves Davidson, Wilson, and surrounding counties. Our hospital offers a full range of acute care services, including cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics/spine, rehabilitation, and women's services. We are an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Primary Stroke Center, providing emergency heart and stroke care to our community.
