Chemist III

Overview

The Quality Control Chemist III will play a crucial role in the Technology Transfer of established methods into the FUJIFILM Biotechnologies Diosynth Texas (FDBT) Quality Control Laboratory. This position requires a high level of expertise in analytical testing and a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Perform in-process, release, and stability testing using established analytical methods.
• Conduct technical transfer, qualification, and validation protocols as needed.
• Develop and support a system for managing test samples, reagents, and reference standards.
• Review data obtained for compliance to specifications and report excursions or out-of-specifications.
• Provide OOS investigational support as needed.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager, Chemistry to ensure seamless execution of laboratory activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field with 3+ years of hands-on laboratory experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in laboratory software and equipment.
