Job Summary

Xpressdocs is seeking a detail-oriented Mail Technician to join our Distribution team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of mail pieces, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and adhering to postal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review mail for proper date, postage, and quality barcodes prior to placement in mail trays.
  • Communicate errors found in the mail to operators or supervisors to prevent re-work.
  • Demonstrate safety and security precautions, following company policies.
  • Sort and tray mail, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Replenish supplies as needed and maintain a clean work area.
  • Be willing to cross-train on various equipment and work in different mailing areas.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in mail or a related field.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and occasional overtime.
  • Knowledge of USPS rules and regulations.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal direction in English and read written instructions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and stand/walk up to 80% of the time.
