Job Title: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

THERAPY 2000, a leading provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Clarksville/Mount Pleasant. This is an exciting opportunity to work with families and provide high-quality care to children in a home-based setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with patients' medical neighborhoods. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy.
  • Develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.
  • Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients' caregivers.
  • Collaborate and coordinate care between various providers and disciplines.
  • Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
  • Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
Requirements:
  • A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
  • An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
  • Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
  • Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience in a home-health setting.
  • Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, etc.).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
