Radiologic Technologist Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Cambay Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with patients, assisting radiologists and staff physicians, and administering x-rays in radiological examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiologic equipment and perform radiological procedures
  • Provide patient care and safety as established by department standards
  • Perform basic clerical and housekeeping functions, including examination and work area cleaning, telephone communications, and computer system data entry
  • Exercise professional judgment while performing services in a demeanor complimentary to customer service, age-specific criteria, safety, and medical ethics

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • AAS or BS in Radiologic Sciences preferred
  • Registered with the ARRT
  • Successful completion of the national registry test for radiologic technology within 12 months from the start of being registry eligible
  • Two years of clinical experience in an ARRT-accredited radiologic technology program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional on-the-job experience
