Position Summary

Fleck's Furniture & Appliances is seeking a dedicated Delivery and Installation Specialist to play a vital role in our operations. In this position, you will be tasked with transporting furniture and appliances to customers' residences, assembling furniture, and installing appliances. Additional responsibilities include receiving, storing, and managing inventory within our warehouse or stockroom. This role is ideal for individuals who are self-driven, enthusiastic, and have a passion for assisting others. You should be committed to delivering exceptional customer service and adept at handling various situations on a daily basis.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Preferred experience of at least 1 year in delivery driving.
  • Transport a diverse range of items to various locations and routes.
  • Adhere to scheduled routes and timelines.
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle.
  • Capability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks under different weather and traffic conditions.
  • Comply with DOT regulations and safety protocols.
  • Must be able to lift and transport weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Class D driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to operate various vehicle types, including box trucks, express vans, and pickup trucks.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors.
