Position Overview

PetCure Oncology at Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Veterinarian to join their team. As a key member of the radiation therapy department, this individual will work closely with a Boarded Radiation Oncologist to provide exceptional patient care and lead a team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee clinical care within the department and act as PetCure Oncology's lead veterinarian
  • Manage and develop a team consisting of a Radiation Therapist and two Veterinary Technicians
  • Collaborate with the Boarded Radiation Oncologist to provide the highest standard of care for patients
  • Ensure data integrity and operational efficiency within the department
  • Provide exceptional client experience and communicate effectively with pet owners
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Licensed Veterinarian to the local State or ability to become licensed
  • 3-5 years of prior working experience as a GP or Hospitalist
