Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop services that facilitate global financial transactions worth billions (USD) annually.
- Work on real-world problems on a global scale, owning systems end-to-end and influencing the direction of our technology that impacts hundreds of millions of customers around the world.
- Design flexible and scalable solutions, and work on some of the most complex challenges in large-scale computing by utilizing skills in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Collaborate with best-in-class professionals in challenging agile projects to design, implement, and test highly scalable solutions using AWS cloud platform and its many products.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience leading and influencing your team or organization.
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment.
