Position Summary:
We are in search of a Vice President of Investor Relations to become a vital part of our expanding Business Development and Investor Relations (BDIR) team. This role demands a proactive and detail-oriented professional with exceptional communication skills, capable of thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster and sustain robust relationships with existing limited partners.
- Provide timely and commercial updates regarding performance and fund status.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare essential content and reports for current limited partners, including regular investor communications.
- Develop and refine materials for internal stakeholders such as finance and compliance teams.
- Work alongside BDIR team members to initiate new strategies aimed at enhancing limited partner engagement and securing additional capital commitments.
- Lead discussions and meetings independently.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of direct experience in investor relations, particularly in client-facing roles.
- Experience in private investments, specifically with closed-end funds.
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor with a strong client-service orientation.
- Proven ability to conduct investment analysis and produce relevant content.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The estimated base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $225,000, complemented by eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. Actual salary may vary based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
