We are seeking a skilled Petroleum Inspector to join our team at Intertek in Benicia, CA. As a Petroleum Inspector, you will be responsible for performing volume measurements, temperature measurements, sampling, calculations, documentation, and reporting to ensure the accuracy and quality of petroleum products.

• Perform sampling, gauging, and inventory of shore tanks
• Understand and adhere to Caleb Brett safety procedures
• Communicate and coordinate with terminal, transport, and Company personnel
• Monitor the availability of supplies needed for the above processes
• Perform routine equipment calibration, verification, and function checks
• Organize and coordinate jobs to ensure timely completion
• Verify and communicate results and make entries into the appropriate media

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to work on an on-call basis
• Cannot have a fear of heights
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs for shore tanks
• Basic grasp of mathematics and ability to work in an automated environment
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record

• 1 year working with or around petroleum products

• $2,000.00 sign on bonus for those who qualify
