About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemist I to join our team at Best Formulations, a leading contract manufacturer of nutraceutical and personal care products. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through analytical testing and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analytical tests of raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including HPLC, GC, ICP, and UV spectrophotometers.
  • Document test results, problems, and other issues, and perform initial troubleshooting of issues that arise during analysis.
  • Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and laboratory safety guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Write and perform investigations of out-of-specification (OOS) results under the supervision of a senior chemist or lab supervisor.
  • Follow established department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMP regulations, and batch record instructions.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • 0-1 year of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or dietary supplements industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
