Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Specialist or Process Improvement Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing Mission Assurance principles across programs to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and company requirements. You will also support coordination and implementation of all engineering activities, ensuring individual IPT plans are sufficient in quality, completeness, and detail (technical, cost, schedule).

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Investigating quality problems, issues, and failures through root cause investigation and corrective action implementation
  • Providing leadership and guidance in identifying and executing tasks to increase efficiency and effectiveness of company processes
  • Interaction with internal and external customers, as well as all levels of employees
  • Performing technical issue assessment, providing technical guidance, and planning for resolution
  • Suggesting continuous improvement opportunities and supporting process improvements
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, systems, aerospace) with 2 years experience or Master's degree in Engineering with 0 years experience
  • Strong understanding and broad application of engineering systems, and DoD Mil specs and standards
  • Demonstrated ability to work without oversight and in a multi-discipline team environment, providing insight and solutions to complicated issues both technical and procedural
  • Experience with leading process improvement projects and Root Cause Corrective Action
  • Active US DoD Secret security clearance and ability to obtain program access
