IPM Specialist

At Illicit Gardens, we're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IPM Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cultivation team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective integrated pest management programs to ensure the health and productivity of our cannabis crops.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pest and Disease Monitoring: Regularly scout and monitor crops for signs of pests and diseases, identifying and documenting pest populations and damage.
• Application of Controls: Apply organic pest control measures as needed, following all safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of pest monitoring, control measures, and pesticide applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the cultivation team to ensure IPM practices are integrated into daily operations.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of pest biology, organic pest control methods, and sustainable agriculture practices.
• Skills: Excellent observational and analytical skills, ability to identify pests and diseases accurately, and proficiency in record-keeping and data analysis.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
