Advanced Wound Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at ReNew Wound Care. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to make a meaningful impact in the post-acute setting.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this role is estimated to be around $130,000 per year, with opportunities for additional compensation based on performance.
Job DescriptionThis Advanced Wound Care Specialist will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex wounds. Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of patient wounds to develop individualized treatment plans
- Implementing advanced wound care techniques, including debridement, dressing selection, skin grafts, and infection control measures
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to coordinate care and provide updates on patient progress
- Managing a travel schedule to visit multiple skilled nursing facilities on a regular basis
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
- A valid license as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board certification (ANCC or AANP)
- Minimum 1 year experience in advanced wound care
- Certification in wound care (e.g., CWOCN, CWS, WCC, WOCN) is a plus
- Ability to travel to multiple locations
