About the Role:
Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Observation Unit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with cardiac-related conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac-related conditions, including chest pain, cardiac dysrhythmias, and NSTEMI.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest cardiac care practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required for PRN positions.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
