Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in a long-term care setting. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care to meet the unique needs of each resident.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the RN collaborates with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. The RN is responsible for coordinating care, conducting resident assessments, and providing education to residents and their families.

The RN may also serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel as needed. The RN is responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable administration of resident care and resolving care and service concerns.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
  • Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
