CoxHealth is seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct and individualized care to acutely and critically ill patients in a highly technical and ongoing monitoring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition, perform diagnostic tests, begin treatments, and assist doctors with medical procedures.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays, and record patient data.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
Requirements
- Education
- Graduate of an approved nursing program.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Experience
- Preferred: Previous nursing experience.
- Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective leadership and time management skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- MO RN license.
- BLS certification required within 90 days.
