We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Security Technician to join our team at Eastern Security Services. As a key member of our Service Technician team, you will be responsible for servicing and troubleshooting a variety of security systems, including video surveillance, intelligent video verification, security intrusion alarms, access control, and fire alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, install, and test residential and commercial security alarm systems
- Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, programming, and signal issue resolution
- Research and test new alarm products and related equipment
- Installation and programming of commercial and residential fire systems
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of alarm service and installation experience
- Comfortable working with technology and self-motivated to learn
- Ability to travel as required (no overnight travel)
- Ability to work overtime as required and participate in on-call schedule after six-months
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Clear driver's license and safe driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) year Associate's Degree
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
