Job Title:

**Tooling and Quality Engineer**

">About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Tooling and Quality Engineer to join our team at Shively Brothers. This individual will be responsible for revising and updating tool drawings and documentation, developing new systems to recondition and re-use tooling when economically feasible, and attending regularly scheduled operations and team problem-solving meetings.

">Responsibilities:
  • Tool Design and Development: Revise and update tool drawings and documentation as required.
  • Tool Optimization: Develop new systems to recondition and re-use tooling when economically feasible.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend regularly scheduled operations and team problem-solving meetings.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience working in production machining, CNC Machining, and cutting tools or experience working in a closely related technical field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong math and problem-solving skills and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Benefits:
