Epic Travel Staffing is currently seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Position Overview & Requirements
  • Specialty: CVICU
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Weekly Hours: 48 hours
  • Shift Length: 12 hours

Job Highlights:

  • Shift: Variable Day/Night / 12x4, with the possibility of 36-hour weeks
  • Length: 13 Weeks

Qualifications:

  • Active NH Nursing License
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Experience in critical care is preferred
  • Experience with ICP Monitoring (SICU/NCCU) is a plus
  • Familiarity with ventilated patients is advantageous
  • Experience with pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications is preferred
  • Ability to assist with line insertion and maintenance is desirable
  • Experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients is a plus
  • Familiarity with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVD (SICU/NCCU/PICU) is preferred
  • Experience with PA lines and waveform interpretation (CVCC) is beneficial
