About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Automation Consultant to join our team at Bastian Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will work closely with customers to design and implement automated material handling systems that meet their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of Bastian's Exacta software and its applications in warehouse automation.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for software scope and requirements, providing feedback on design proposals.
  • Lead requirements gathering and scope definition efforts with customers during the sales process.
  • Create software-specific proposal content in support of overall solution proposals.
  • Support sales presentations by highlighting the role of Bastian's Exacta software in customer operations.
  • Work with our Software Delivery team to communicate requirements and develop cost estimates.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' industry experience in technical sales, preferably with a focus on warehouse automation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) or a related field. An MBA is desirable.
  • Strong technical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment, automation, and warehouse software applications.

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), vacation pay, and more.
