About the Role:

The Outpatient Transplant and Cellular Therapy Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering specialized care to patients undergoing treatments in our transplant program. You will provide direct patient care, education, and support throughout the transplant process to ensure optimal outcomes in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients at admission and during each shift, promptly reporting any changes in conditions.
  • Perform clinical procedures as ordered and document care comprehensively in patient records.
  • Deliver outstanding patient care by being responsive to needs and proactively addressing concerns.
  • Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care for a complete understanding.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting.
  • Current Registered Nurse license for Texas or Compact State.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Oncology or Hematology preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
