Job Summary:

The Production Home Assembler plays a crucial role in our factory assembly line environment, responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing and assembling building components and homes. This position requires strong attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Various Tools and Equipment: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete carpentry duties, including circular saws, table saws, routers, pneumatic nail guns, drills, and other necessary tools for measuring, cutting, fastening, and drilling.
  • Frame, Layout, and Build Floors and Walls: Construct floors and walls, ensuring accurate measurements and precise assembly.
  • Install Electrical Lines and Fixtures: Run and install electrical lines, switches, receptacles, and panels/breaker boxes, adhering to safety standards.
  • Prepare and Install Drywall and Finishing Touches: Install and prepare drywall for finish tape, mud, and texture, and complete roof construction, decking, flashing, and shingling.
  • Cabinet and Finish Carpentry: Build and install cabinets, trim, and other finish carpentry elements.
  • Install Siding, Windows, and Doors: Install siding, windows, and doors, ensuring proper fit and finish.
  • Painting and Finishing: Paint the interior and exterior of homes, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Teamwork and Safety: Cooperate with team members, promote a safe work environment, and adhere to all rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Age and Authorization: Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Education and Skills: High school diploma preferred, with basic construction knowledge and ability to read blueprints.
  • Physical Demands: Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree, with heavy work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
Working Conditions:
  • Environmental Factors: Continuous exposure to heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors, with a requirement to wear protective equipment.
