We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Progressive Care Unit team at Indiana University Health. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Care for patients with chest tubes and arterial lines
  • Manage and titrate drips
  • Manage drains, tubes, and lines (ostomies, feeding tubes, central lines, etc.)
  • Provide surgical site care (sutures, staples, dressing changes)
  • Provide tracheostomy care

Unit Culture

Qualifications
  • Requires an Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
