Key Responsibilities- Obtain useful diagnostic details through the use of imaging equipment and technology.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Produce high-quality x-ray films of various body parts to aid in medical diagnosis.
- Instruct patients on proper positioning to ensure accurate images.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to medical imaging.
- Deliver exceptional patient care in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to national patient safety initiatives.
- Completion of a two-year approved program in Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state registration as a Radiology Technician, as required by state law.
- Two years of experience in a critical care setting, preferably as an X-Ray Tech.
- Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
